Your Child Is in Great Hands
-
Can I book a visit to look around?Of course, If you are wanting to enroll your child or you are currently on the waiting list and want to look around please contact us via email or phone.
-
What is a 'Settling in Session'?A 'Settling in Session' occurs just before your child's start date, this is to prepare your child with a gradual introduction to our provision, the children, activities, routines, and staff. Children need to become familiar with the provision and feel confident, and safe within it. Also, it is a great support tool for reassuring children that you or your carers will always return to collect them.
-
Will my child need to wear uniform?Yes, we are now selling our new uniform through Skoolkit
-
Does my child need a packed lunch?Yes, you must provide your child with a packed lunch if they are doing an 'all day' or 'afternoon' session.
-
Can I change my child's start date?Of course, you can push back the start date back however you will need to let us know as soon as possible. You may be able to bring the start date forward depending on your child's age (the earliest is the term after their second birthday), if you are wanting this please contact us as soon as possible.

spare clothes, waterproofs, and wellies...We do ask that provide your child with a bag of spare clothes in case of accidents, or messy play. Wellie boots and waterproofs are needed as we are a free-flow setting meaning that children always have access to the outdoors and can go out whenever they please. We do ask that all of the above is labeled with your child's name, to stop confusion and it becoming lost.
-
Can I change my child's hours or days? You can change your child's hours such as a late drop-off (9:00 am) or early (8:30 am) morning; pick up early (3:00 pm or 3:30 pm) or instead of a full day to a half day. when you first join us you will be asked to fill out a form asking what sessions you will be wanting in each term as you may want to increase. However, if you are wanting to increase or change a day and you did not include this on your form; please get in contact with us, and we will try our best to make this happen.
-
Is there minimum number of sessions?Yes, Our minimum number of sessions one day or two mornings, We do however encourage more sessions as we find they settle quickly when attending more.
-
Can my child attend here and another setting?Yes, We have a few number of children that do attend other settings as well as coming here. However we do recommend that a child only attending one setting as it can becoming confusing for a child as we will do things different to the other setting and will typically settle much quicker.
-
Is there a catchment? No, we do not have a catchment, however I would take into consideration where your child will hopefully be attending school ; if they will be attending 'Swanmore Primary' they will have many other friends going up with them, where as if attending other schools we very rarely have children attend other schools in the area.
